The definitive academic programme, dates and fees of next Summer School edition 2023 will be announced shortly.
UER Summer School aims to provide a wide and in-depth understanding of the legal implications of the most relevant issues of international trade both on a substantial and procedural prospective. The program combines high-level lectures and professionalizing training offered by professors, lawyers, managers and experts operating in the international markets.
All lectures are given in English and the topic addressed such as transnational contracts, cooperation agreements, project financing, equity and trust, international commercial arbitration and the settlement of interstate disputes at WTO.
Advanced students (who have completed at least the 2nd year of their degree), young graduates and professionals in the Law field. The number of participants is limited to 40.
The program will run from 15th to 26th June and includes 64 hours of class time divided in two weekly sessions on international trade and international commercial arbitration, including a moot competition at the end of the second week.

The program will offer visits to museums, art galleries, churches and monuments, giving students coming from abroad a consistent knowledge of History and Art in Rome, one of the cradles of the western civilization. Some of the visits include:

Upon successful completion of the course and final examination, participants will be issued a certificate of attendance which qualifies them for the accreditation of 12 ECTS point.

The lessons will be held at Università Europea di Roma ( Via degli Aldobrandeschi, 190, 00163 Roma) where accommodation is also provided at UER on-campus student residence .The visits will have place mostly in the city centre.

UER Summer School on International Trade Law will take place from 15th to 26th June.
Two different options are available:
Option A) € 1.990 as a comprehensive fee of:
For Option A) it is possible to pay in three or two different installments:
Option B) € 1290 for the attendance at the Summer School only.
UER will award up to 5 scholarships based on academic merits. The awarded students will pay only € 1600 as a comprehensive fee of the two weeks accommodations, all visits and social activities.
In order to enrol for the UER Summer School on International Trade Law, applicants will need to send to andrea.llorente@unier.it the following documents:
Participants who want to apply for the scholarship will also need to send, together with the previous three documents, a short video explaining their motivations to participate in UER’s Summer School (min. 1 min – max. 2 min.).The deadline for scholarship application is April 11th.
The application period will start on January 7th and finish on May 11th. Payment must be made through deposit or bank transfer within May 29th.
