With its educational approach in line with the most updated international standards on the subject, the “Managerial Decision Making” lab aims to explain how managers take decisions, and how their decision making process could lead to more efficient and effective outcomes. The lab starts with a theoretical explanation of key concepts in managerial decision making, such as bounded rationality, biases and heuristics. These concepts then form the basis of the problem solving perspective on decision making, which represents the core of the lab. In this regard, students will be invited to form groups, and to work on the solution of business problems taken from the real world business scenario.
