Lecturer: Giuseppe Busia, Secretary General for the Protection of Personal Data since 2012, He was also Secretary General of the Supervisory Authority on public contracts for works, services and supplies (AVCP, now merged into ANAC). He was a member, representing Italy, of the ad hoc Committee on Data Protection (CAHDATA) instituted by the Council of Europe (Strasbourg) from 2013 to 2016. Furthermore, as an expert on behalf of the European Commission – DG Enlargement, he carried out several missions abroad aimed at promoting the application of Community legislation in the new Member States. He is Professor of Law and management of personal data and biotechnologies at the European University of Rome.
