The Geographic Research and Application Laboratory (GREAL) was inaugurated by Università Europea di Roma on January 19th, 2009 (D.R. 1/2009).

It is now operating under the Centro Dipartimentale per la Ricerca (Università Europea’s Department of Research).

Its institutional areas of activity are Geographic Sciences and Technologies.

The laboratory is therefore involved in research and advanced training in several geography-based or geography-related fields, from Environmental Science to Archaeology.
