Bio

Rita Mascolo is a Professor of Behavioural Economics and Consumer Choice at Università Europea di Roma. She teaches History of Economics and Business at Università Luiss Guido Carli, where she is a postdoctoral researcher in Economics – research project “Per una politica industriale nazionale e integrata nell’era della globalizzazione”. She teaches Finance and Business Ethics at Università degli Studi Suor Orsola Benincasa in Naples.

In 2016 she earned a PhD in Business, Economic and Statistical Studies from Università degli Studi di Bari “Aldo Moro”. She is a member of the Italian society of economic historians.

 

Research interests

Rita Mascolo is a postdoctoral researcher in Economics at Università Luiss Guido Carli research project “Per una politica industriale nazionale e integrata nell’era della globalizzazione”. She collaborates with the institute of political studies “S. Pio V” for the analysis of the Greek economic conditions following the sovereign debt crisis. She also collaborates with the finance magazine “Rivista Bancaria. Minerva Bancaria” to the editings of a monograph on the thought of Francesco Parrillo, with particular reference to his contribution in the implementation of the single currency in the European context.
