Bio

Daniela Primicerio is a Professor of European and International Economics at Università Europea di Roma. She graduated in Law cum laude from Università di Roma la Sapienza in 1971. Nel 1973 she did a Postgraduate Degree in International Economics at Università LUISS in Rome and an internship at I.C.E. in Amsterdam.

Research interests

Daniela Primicerio is an economist with a great deal of experience in Business Economics, forecasting and control tools in the private sector as well as in the assesment and monitoring of technical and procedure management of articulate public proyects of investment and technical assistance. She has a wide knowledge and operability in many sectors of the classic and innovative business methodology, aimed at the technical, economic and financial evaluation of national and international programmes and projects, to verify the development of time, methods and their relative quality. Thanks to her professional experience, she has worked as an appraiser and arbitrator on behalf of the public administration and consumers, together with her experience-related teaching position.

  • Responsible for writing “Codice del Consumo” in 2005-07
  • She wrote “Codice della Metrologia” in 2006/2007, after its review by a committee of experts, responsible for the approval process that was almost complete before the expiry of the delegation, which has been no longer renewed.
  • Ministero Delle Attività Produttive, Mercato e Consumatori magazine- Chief Editor (2002 – Jun / 2006).
  • She wrote a comparative study of consumerism in all countries of the European Union, from a consumer law perspective since its origins until 2008.
